BBB Building Fund The Better Business Bureau in Austin received its charter and began service to the public in October of 1950. Throughout its existence, your local BBB has expanded its service to several areas including the merger with the Waco BBB in January of 2003 and the San Antonio BBB in July of 2004. We are proud that you are part of one of the largest membership organizations in Texas, serving 52 counties. The BBB continues to aim for excellent service to consumers and businesses and maintain its vision of growth. After over a half a century of service to the community, the Better Business Bureau serving Central and South Central Texas has purchased its own building. Please help the BBB maintain its leadership role of business ethics in the community. Helping us make this building the best possible home for the Ethics Center honors the BBB, the public and all from the business community who have made it what it is today.
